*What Does Equine-Assisted Mean?

Adults learn by doing. Experiential learning activities serve to anchor learning at a deeper level and help transfer new practices back at work.

Equine assisted programs bring a new level of embodied learning. Interactively working with horses strengthens self-awareness and social awareness. Integrating this new awareness with specific strategies, tools and techniques to apply back at work facilitates better communication, working relationships and amplifies productivity for lasting results.

Reina has over 30 years of experience and applies a variety of best practices from the behavioral sciences and leverages her expertise to enhance individual and organizational productivity. She has worked with a variety of government agencies, corporations, and executive teams with a specialization in leadership development, organizational change, and executive coaching. She holds a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology, an undergrad degree in engineering and is a Certified Leadership Coach with both Georgetown University (an ICF-approved program) and The Center for Creative Leadership. Reina is certified in a number of assessments, a few of which include: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, DiSC, Benchmarks 360, OPM 360, Change Style Indicator, Conflict Dynamics Profile, Bar-on EQi (emotional intelligence), TESI (team emotional and social intelligence), Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies trained equine assisted coach.

Reina has worked with a variety of industries, including engineering, healthcare, software, aerospace, financial services. A few specific clients include Salomon Brothers, Kaiser, Oracle, Jeppesen (Boeing), Avaya, CH2M Hill, Kohler, Merck, and HCA Healthcare.
